Really... It is Rick's Cafe

By Claudia G. Green, PhD, Semester at Sea, Spring 2017

I had been to Marrekesh and Fez a couple of times and decided that instead of arriving in Casablanca and leaving, I should stay there for a couple of days. I had heard of Rick's Cafe which was a cafe made famous from the 1942 movie "Casablanca".  I actually thought it was going to be a tourist trap like Planet Hollywood, but I was pleasantly surprised.  Excellent food, service and ambiance. I highly recommend it to anyone going through or staying in Casablanca.
